A veces tenemos que elegir entre uno y otro (<em>either or<\/em>), otras veces ninguno de los dos (<em>neither nor)<\/em>, pero a menudo podemos elegir ambos a la vez (<em>both and<\/em>).\n\n<!--more-->\n\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>En la imagen: No puedo confirmarlo ni negarlo.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h2>Elecci\u00f3n entre <em>either, neither &amp; both<\/em><\/h2>\nPor supuesto, en el <a href=\"https:\/\/speakingo.com\/es\/category\/ingles-nivel-principiante-a1-a2\/\">nivel inicial<\/a> se pueden utilizar construcciones muy sencillas. Si no tenemos una preferencia espec\u00edfica y nos da lo mismo, podemos decir:\n<ul>\n \t<li><em>We can go to <strong>either<\/strong> pub. With you it&#8217;s fun <strong>either<\/strong> way!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n(Podemos ir en coche, podemos ir andando. En espa\u00f1ol muchas veces utilizamos la negaci\u00f3n doble (NO quiero NADA).\n\nPor lo tanto, deber\u00edamos traducir la frase anterior m\u00e1s bien como\n<ul>\n \t<li><em>We <strong>can<\/strong> meet <strong>neither<\/strong> tonight nor tomorrow morning.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>(Podemos<\/strong> reunirnos <strong>ni<\/strong> esta noche ni ma\u00f1ana por la ma\u00f1ana. -&gt; En lugar de: <em>No<\/em>podemos reunirnos ni&#8230;)\n\nPor muy raro que <a href=\"https:\/\/speakingo.com\/es\/vergonzosas-traducciones-idioma-ingles-espanol\/\">pueda sonar esta traducci\u00f3n literal en espa\u00f1ol<\/a>, debemos recordar que esta es la <a href=\"https:\/\/speakingo.com\/es\/aprendizaje-de-frases-completas-oraciones-enteras-en-ingles\/\">frase correcta en ingl\u00e9s.<\/a>\n\nLo mismo ocurrir\u00e1 si una negaci\u00f3n ya aparece antes de <em>either<\/em>, por ejemplo, el <strong><em>don&#8217;t<\/em>:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n \t<li><em>I<strong> don&#8217;t<\/strong> want <strong>either<\/strong> of them.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n(No quiero ninguno de los dos.)\n\nY es posible utilizar en esta oraci\u00f3n <em>neither<\/em>, pero ya sin el <em>don&#8217;t<\/em>:\n<ul>\n \t<li><em>I want <strong>neither<\/strong> of them.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n(No quiero ninguno de los dos.)\n\nEl significado de estas frases es el mismo.\n<h2>3. <em>both, both of, both&#8230; and&#8230;<\/em><\/h2>\nPero, \u00bfno ocurre a menudo en la vida que s\u00f3lo nos parece que tenemos que elegir entre dos cosas?
